Valdes Stay in Camp Nou Next Season

Barcelona president, Sandro Rosell, confirmed goalkeeper Victor Valdes will remain at Camp Nou despite contract will expire on June 30, 2014. Valdes admitted he had been willing to talk about a contract extension with Barcelona.


Valdes had previously decided not to renew a contract with Barcelona. 31-year-old goalkeeper was reportedly removed immediately wanted them for free at the end of this summer.

"Valdes agent, Gines Carvajal, was officially confirmed Barcelona Director of Football, Andoni Zubizarreta that Victor wants to see his contract now. We are glad to hear that," said Rosell as reported by Marca.

Even so, Rosell said Barcelona ready if in the end remained deadlocked for maintaining Valdes. One way is to stay looking for a new goalkeeper for next season.

Valdes his official debut with the squad Azulgrana in the 2002-2003 season. Since then, he has performed more than 500 times with the Catalan team.

Bale Happy with AVG in Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Gareth Bale, admitted happy working with manager Andre Villas-Boas (AVB). The statement provides an indication Bale still at home playing at White Hart Lane.
