Former Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit, pleaded not sure the return of Jose Mourinho to the club will bring the same success as nine years ago when Mourinho first coached Chelsea. According to the former Dutch star, a challenge to repeat the success of the 2004 to 2007 is not an easy thing.

"I do not doubt the quality of Mourinho. However, I doubt there's a coach could return to a club and hope to be as successful as first joined. Would be really great if he could show that I was wrong," said Gullit.

Mourinho has so far still has not brought the Blues to his best. In the Premier League standings, Chelsea is ranked 4th standings with three wins, one draw and one defeat. While in the Champions League, they had just defeated FC Basel on matchday one.

Gullit Mourinho was responding to remarks aimed at her post-conquer Fulham 2-0. Gullit admitted to not be offended and think Mourinho is only trying to protect his players.

"I'm not offended. Remarks indicated he would like to emphasize how to protect players because he does need to do," said the man who had brought Chelsea won the FA Cup in 1997.

"I want to see Chelsea have a little fun while playing. Their style a bit pragmatic, but they have players with attractive style and I want to see it," said Gullit.
