UEFA released the 10 finalists who become candidates best player of Europe in 2013-2014. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo return to compete for this award.
In the past year, Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery who was selected as the winner of the UEFA Best Player Award, getting rid of Messi and Ronaldo.
Unfortunately, Ribery is not included in the 10 finalists. Even so, Bayern continued to dominate this award by contributing four players namely Philipp Lahm, Thomas Mueller, Manuel Neur, and Arjen Robben.
Madrid won the Champions League last season only represented by Angel Di Maria and Ronaldo.
Of the 10 names of these players, then pursed into three players who will be announced on Thursday (08/14/2014). Announcement of winners will be held in Monaco on August 28, with the draw berbarangan group stage of the Champions League from 2014 to 2015.
As in previous years, the winner of the UEFA Best Player Award is selected by a vote of football journalists from UEFA member countries. Voting is done live during the event.
